Chemistry Biochemistry Club: Executive Member (Vice President)
As Vice President of the Chemistry Biochemistry Club at Thompson Rivers University, I help organize events that foster community engagement among our 100+ members, promoting collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing in a supportive academic environment. During my time as a member, I became increasingly aware of the importance of green chemistry and sustainable reaction methods, which significantly influenced my approach to research and reinforced the need for sustainability in scientific practices. Now, as Vice President, I actively share this knowledge with current members, encouraging a shift toward greener chemistry and ensuring that sustainability remains a priority in our academic and professional pursuits.
