To demonstrate my engagement in knowledge mobilization, I have attached some pictures for three instances where I either present a poster or presentations.
CHEM 4480: Directed Studies poster presentation at Thompson Rivers University Undergraduate Research and Innovation Conference in 2024. It summarizes the application of ortho-metalation reactions in making novel herbicides from different secondary amines. Presented under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Allingham and Dr. Bruno Cinel.
Presentation at the Canadian Mineral Analysts (CMA) 2024 Conference on my research project, “Determination of Trace Metals in Canadian Bee Pollen by ICP-MS.” This 15-minute presentation highlighted my findings on how mining may affect bee populations through the analysis of bee pollen samples. The presentation was delivered to mining industry professionals under the supervision of Dr. Kingsley Donkor.
Honours update presentation for my honours project “A New Banana Flavouring: Extraction and Characterization of Volatile Compounds in Cavendish Bananas (Musa acuminata(AAA Group) ‘Cavendish’)”. This presentation was to an audience of faculty and students, where I was able to share early results from my project. Presented under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Allingham, Dr. Naowarat Cheeptham, and Dr. Kingsley Donkor.
